PEI PNP — Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program
Prince Edward Island's provincial nominee program. Streams include Express Entry, Critical Worker, International Graduate, Skilled Worker, Work Permit Stream, and Business Impact (Work Permit and Direct Investment).
What is the PEI PNP?
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) is the smallest provincial nominee program by volume — PEI has the smallest provincial population — but operates a full range of skilled-worker, business, and graduate streams.
PEI PNP streams
- Express Entry — for candidates already in the federal Express Entry pool with a PEI connection
- Critical Worker — for foreign workers in priority occupations (healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, construction)
- International Graduate — for graduates of PEI DLIs (UPEI, Holland College)
- Skilled Worker — for foreign workers with PEI employer offers in skilled NOCs
- Work Permit Stream — Business Impact: for entrepreneurs with a Performance Agreement
- Direct Investment — Business Impact: for higher-net-worth investors
Application fee
CAD 300 per application.
When to consider PEI
PEI has consistent EOI (Expression of Interest) draws and lower volume than other provinces — competition per nomination is smaller. Strong for applicants in healthcare, hospitality, and skilled trades willing to commit to PEI long-term.
