MPNP — Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program
Manitoba's provincial economic immigration program. Streams include Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Business Investor.
What is MPNP?
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is the provincial nomination route to Canadian permanent residence for candidates with a Manitoba connection. MPNP runs both Express Entry-aligned (Enhanced) and non-Express Entry (Base) streams.
MPNP streams
- Skilled Worker Overseas — for candidates with a Manitoba employer connection or family / community connection
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba — for foreign workers and graduates already in Manitoba
- International Education Stream — for Manitoba post-secondary graduates with employer connection
- Business Investor Stream — Entrepreneur or Farm Investor pathway
Application fee
CAD 500 per application.
When to consider MPNP
Strong fit for applicants with a Manitoba employer offer, Manitoba family member willing to invite, or Manitoba graduation. The Skilled Worker Overseas stream allows community-supported applications even without a direct employer offer in some cases.
Halani's note
Manitoba has well-established South Asian, Filipino, and Sub-Saharan African communities — particularly in Winnipeg, Brandon, and Steinbach. We work MPNP files virtually from Toronto.
