SINP — Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program
Saskatchewan's provincial nominee program. Streams include International Skilled Worker (with Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories), Saskatchewan Experience, and Entrepreneur & Farm.
What is SINP?
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is Saskatchewan's pathway to Canadian permanent residence. Operates both Express Entry-aligned and non-Express Entry streams.
SINP streams
- International Skilled Worker — Express Entry — for candidates already in the federal Express Entry pool with a target NOC
- International Skilled Worker — Occupations In-Demand — non-Express Entry stream for in-demand occupations without a job offer
- International Skilled Worker — Employment Offer — for candidates with a Saskatchewan employer job offer
- Saskatchewan Experience — for foreign workers and graduates in Saskatchewan
- Entrepreneur — for business-class applicants
- Farm — for farm owner/operators
Application fee
CAD 350 per application — among the lowest PNP fees in Canada.
When to consider SINP
Strong for applicants in priority occupations (healthcare, trades, agriculture, IT) willing to commit to settling in Saskatchewan. Occupations In-Demand sub-stream accepts applicants without an employer offer if the NOC is on the in-demand list.
Halani's note
Saskatchewan has been increasingly active with Express Entry-aligned draws for South Asian and Filipino candidates. Lower cost of living + faster PNP processing make it attractive for sub-cutoff federal CRS applicants.
